Alcoholic Beverage Law

Alcoholic Beverage Law

We represent breweries, distilleries and wineries on all aspects of beverage licensing including license acquisitions and transfers, structuring legal entities and purchase and sale agreements.

We assist clients before City Councils and Planning Commissions throughout California in connection with Conditional Use Permit hearings and determinations of Public Convenience or Necessity relating to the sale of alcoholic beverages.

We assist clients facing regulatory actions by the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms [ATF], Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau [TTB] as well as California’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control [ABC]. We assist clients in resolving accusations against licensees for violations such as unlawful sale of alcohol to minors, exceeding license privileges, and more.

We are experienced in real estate law, including the leasing, and the acquisition and disposition of commercial office properties, restaurants, wineries, hotels and hospitality properties. We are also experienced with the environmental concerns regarding disposing of spent grain and proposed FDA regulations.
